The 2025–26 Ashes series between Australia and England is scheduled to take place from November 21, 2025, to January 8, 2026. This five-match Test series will be held across five iconic Australian venues.
Perth Stadium (Optus Stadium) – November 21–25, 2025
The Gabba, Brisbane – December 4–8, 2025 (Day-Night Test)
Adelaide Oval – December 17–21, 2025
Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) – December 26–30, 2025 (Boxing Day Test)
Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) – January 4–8, 2026 (New Year’s Test)
Notably, this will be the first time in over 40 years that the Ashes opener will not be held at the Gabba in Brisbane. Instead, Perth Stadium will host the series opener, with Brisbane's Gabba hosting the second Test as a day-night match. Adelaide Oval will host the third Test as a day game, moving away from its traditional day-night format to capitalize on its popularity during the holiday season.
This series is part of the 2025–2027 ICC World Test Championship. Australia are the defending holders of the Ashes, having won in 2021–22 and drawn in 2023.
